The customer requested a Tudor-style look, using contrasting black and white to highlight the intricate panelling in this period property. Preparation included sanding, filling, and priming, before carefully applying multiple coats for a flawless finish. The biggest challenge was achieving crisp, straight lines along the angled bannisters and panelling – a steady hand and patience were key.
The project took around three days to complete and the end result is a striking, characterful entranceway that feels both bold and sympathetic to the property’s heritage.
